Welcome to civics! In order to effectively use this page, follow these guidelines:
- The BIG QUESTION (below) is the course question. This question will be one-half of your final exam. You will write an essay on that question, using one fact from each unit. You'll have to remember to properly define, interpret, and analyze how each fact supports your argument.
- The unit sections are organized by topic, color-coded to help you organize them. Within each unit, red is the first topic, green the second, and blue is the final topic. Unit 3 has a pre-topic, colored purple, that outlines some structure. This will come in handy when you write your unit exams, since you will need to reference, define, and use something from each topic area.
- Each topic has a guiding question at the start. These are questions that you should be able to answer by the end of each topic. If you can do that, you'll be set up well for the unit tests (and eventually the final).
- At the end of each unit page there is a small quiz based on the content for that unit.
- Anything that is bold or any image is (most likely) a clickable link. These aren't necessary to succeeding in this course, but they can help you better understand the concepts and materials.
