How to Take Notes
Note taking in this class is a multi-step process. You will be completing your notes and returning to them multiple times. Studies have shown that revising notes and returning to your notes is one of the more beneficial things you can do to boost your retention of the information. While you may be tempted to take notes via computer, don't - it actually hurts your scores and memory. What you should really be doing is the old pen (or pencil) and paper approach. These skills are important and have been shown to improve college scores and will help with career readiness. This multi-step approach will have you writing notes, asking (and answering) important questions, and providing visuals to help you learn - which are an important part of the learning process.
